Keeping still for a photograph to be taken in 1900 are the staff and owners of Anderson & McAuley which was at Donegal Place. I remember the staircase, the department store was glamerous, you felt like you had to wash your hands before touching anything.

PADDY McAULEY 2024
This is Paddy McAuley who originally came from Belfast having his photograph taken taken after a mission and thankfully only lost his perspex wwindow during World War II.
Now Paddy as you can see was a rear gunner in a Lancaster bomber had a sweetheart for he wrote on the back of this photograph "To Pamela with all Love."
