This is William Duffin's Uncle Tommy who enlisted in 1916, a year later in 1917 he was wounded at Rouen in France. In this photo he is a Lance Corporal,
the four inverted stripes could have been for service, overseas ect.

TECHNICAL COLLEGE_4323
This is the Technical College with snow on the ground which was situated in Victoria Street, the year is unknown but it opened in 1906 and is now Ballymoney Music Centre (2025). The boys and girls of Ballymoney Model School used to go there for the girls to do Cookery lessons and the boys of course woodwork, different today though (2025). In this photograph you can see boys outside in the snow while upstairs from the middle window you can see a girl looking out.

TOWN HALL _4325
This is the Town Hall which was next to Townhead Street.
TWADDLE_4325
This small young man with one hand in his pocket is Master Billy Twaddle back in 1939 is in the back yard of 51 High Street Ballymoney. The girl on the tricycle is Helen Penden but the girl in the background with the apron wrapped around her waist seems to working on a bike which is upside down on the ground is unknown. Now Billy's elders were in partnership with McKenzie and ran a butchers shop called McKenzie & Twaddle. Billy had twin sisters called Pamela and Jacqueline but also might have had another sister called Joyce.Later on in life Billy married Iris Patton and they emigrated to Canada but eventually they returned.

TOWN HALL _4329
This is the Town Hall before it was refurbished and lost the side entrrance that you can see in photograph just down from the man and child walking down. The town hall was well
noted for the dances it held there.and over to the left is Townhead Street.
