ADAMS_4301
This is Adams shop which was situated
on Church Street Ballymoney and while it may look dated on the outside it
certainly was not inside.
Yes he still sold Jewellery, Fancy goods, Fireworks, Radios and T.V.s as shown
on the shop front but what he sold was only the top brands back then.
Adams was the shop you went to for the latest items he even sold computer
games machines.
AMBULANCE

Jock McDonald they were ambulance drivers.
AGNEW_4035
This is Sam Agnew smartly dressed, look
at the crease down those trousers, seen here enjoying a game of bowls.
Sam was the owner of the High Street Café in Ballymoney and also was
in the bakery business with Johnnie McMaster.

ARMOY_4033
Here we are on the Main Street in Armoy
just 8 odd miles from Ballymoney, on the corner the large building partially
hidden is the Northern Bank. Over to the right the shop with the white blinds
is owned by W. Millar and bikes seem to be the main mode of transport except
for someone with deep pockets and owns the car. Perhaps the lady with the
fur coat is a passenger and the driver you can just see his bowler hat is
waiting on her. There are at least 3 phones in the area including the public
one in the shop.
ARMSTRONG_4034
Outside Trinty Church on Rodeing Foot
Ballymoney in 1904 we have the Driver a Mr Elder and beside him the passenger
is Mr Armstrong the owner of the car. Now Mr Armstrong must have been a very
wealthy man for the car is American and was built at the Olds Motor Works
and is a Globe Light Tonneau Car.
Look at the horn beside the driver which you pumped to warn anybody and I
presume the hand brake. The tyres are air filled and it has suspension, the
headlights are lamps you had to light.
