VICTORY DAY 2915
It's the 8th of May1945 and the people here are not only smiling for the camera
but because WWII has ended.
Even though there was still rationing families clubbed together so that they
could celebrate.
In fact the rationing continued into the fifties so they had to save there
food stamps to buy the flour ect to make the grub.
Now only three persons are known in the photograph and they are seated on
the chairs, Betty Steele is 2nd from the left, then 6th and 7th are her cousins
Ron Mullan and Flo Smith.
