DROGHEDA
DOCKS 3761
This is only part of Drogheda Docks and behind the docks on the right side
you can see the start of the town with the houses and even washing out on
the line and the tall spires of the places of worship. At the docks on the
left and further down on the right you have the old sailing ships with their
masts and more up to the foreground on the right the beginning of the new.
Paddle steam boats who didn't have to rely on the wind to fill their sails
so they could move, steam was slowly taking over for they could come and go
when they wanted to. Soon they to would be be a thing of the past as boats
made of iron and propellers would take over as they were faster.
