Here we are back in Glenshesk near Ballycastle
at the Brown's family farm and the lad could be one of fanily, the horse is
ready to pull what is called a wheeled car. To the right is a cart with spoked
wheels while lying in the cart are a pitchfork and a rake. Things have certainly
changed since the last photo was taken, behind the lad they have made to the
left side of the house smaller. Then changed the door to where the window
was and put a window where the door was, then put in a new window at the end.
Made the small building bigger with steps up to the door where someone is
looking out. That day must have been very hot as all the windows and doors
are wide open.

Here we are at a farmyard in Glenshesk
near Ballycastle and this is the Brown's family farm. Perhaps they are all
inside having a meal after bringing more turf for the fire which is light
because there is smoke coming out of the chimney. Nobody has thought to feed
the horse as it waits patiently to be unloaded from the sleigh type car whose
name escapes me for the moment at the side of a thatched building. To the
left is what is called a wheeled car, yes car not cart, note the wheels are
solid wood. Behind it is a cart with spoked wheels at the side of the house
while at the other end of the house is a small thatched building.
